Cradlepoint W4005 5G Wideband Adapter with NetCloud Branch Management

Designed for fixed locations that require the high capacity performance of mmWave, the Cradlepoint W4005 Wideband Adapter helps usher in the next generation of Wireless WAN networking. The W4005 adapter can be paired with a Cradlepoint router in “captive modem mode” to provide virtual single-endpoint deployment, monitoring, and control. ;Or, the adapter can connect to a third-party router via an Ethernet connection. The Cradlepoint W4005 5G Wireless Adapter is designed to be placed outdoors for optimal signal acquisition. With an IP67 rating, the hardened metal casing is designed to withstand extreme temperatures, water, and high winds.

The W4005 Wideband Adapter is purpose-built for deployment in the new high-performance low, mid, and high-band 5G spectrum. To address the tradeoff of lower propagation, Cradlepoint designed the W4005 to be placed separately from the router for optimal signal reception with multiple available models.

While the performance of 5G is top of mind, the W4005 was also designed with enterprise-class standards for high scalability, comprehensive management, and security. Because 5G is a collection of new spectrum, new technologies, and new network infrastructure that is rolling out over several years, the Cradlepoint 5G edge networking service and endpoints accommodate the diverse deployments of an organization with hundreds or even tens of thousands of sites.

NetCloud Branch Package

Cradlepoint’s NetCloud Branch plan unlocks the power of 5G/LTE and provides optimal performance and reliability. It is a service-based platform that spans from cloud to edge to make deploying and managing a wireless WAN easier than ever before. Centrally configure, monitor, visualize, control, and troubleshoot your network from a web console rather than at the device.

The NetCloud Advanced option for the W4005 is sold in a one, three, or five-year subscription plan and includes 24×7 support, online training, support, data traffic analytics, firewall, URL content filtering, and a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
